Valve Motor Actuator

Noninvasive DC actuator

  • 24-240 VDC actuator mounts to existing isolation valves by extending existing bolts and adding mounting bracket
  • New mounting bracket offers multiple adjustment for ease of alignment
  • Torque limiter integrated in actuator
  • Close and Open limit switches integrated in actuator to identify "all open" or "all closed"
  • Manual/Auto switch to allow operator to manually open and close valve without removal

Installation process with C-clamps

Installation Process

Using two 'C' clamps, you can remove one bolt at a time and replace it with a longer bolt. This is done twice for both bottom bolts. Then the bracket can be easily added to these longer bolts. Using slotted connections on a two-piece bracket, the actuator shaft can be easily aligned with the valve stem. Additional instructions are provided at the time of purchase.

Cost Discussion

One time license fee for small utilities under 50,000 meters and larger utilities exceeding that threshold. Both licenses cover existing and future installations. Transformer material costs are similar to costs for high end camera purchase prices.
